RX_MONITOR_REQUEST

In order to obtain more timely news about your presence changes than can be obtained through periodic polling your ONLINE property, other parties may request to be registered as one of your monitors. When this happens, you will receive an RX_MONITOR_REQUEST message.

The format for a RX_MONITOR_REQUEST message is:

RX_MONITOR_REQUEST address

where

address

is the (alleged) address of the user for whom you wish to become a monitor.

If you approve of this request, your client should send an MONITOR_ADD message requesting that the user be registered as a monitor.
